WHATÂ TO WEAR
A little inspiration for what to wear!
These mood boards are purely a guide, particularly for those of us who believe every social occasion is a perfectly reasonable excuse to buy something new. Please don't feel you need to. Your wardrobe is almost certainly full of lovely things already (although we understand if you'd rather pretend otherwise).
WELCOMEÂ PARTY
Dress Code: Western Chic

Think Ralph Lauren meets the American West. Suede, silk, vintage jewellery, cowboy boots and the sort of hat that makes you want to move to Montana and live out your Beth and Rip fantasy from Yellowstone.
Â
A floaty dress with cowboy boots, a suede jacket, a great pair of jeans or a beautifully tailored suit. We'd love everyone to have fun with it, and if you've been looking for an excuse to buy a cowboy hat, consider this your permission.

Our only request: no pink cowboy hats or anything you'd wear on a drunken bachelorette weekend in downtown Nashville. We love a theme, but there are limits.

WEDDINGÂ DAY

Dress Code:
Â
Garden Party Black-Tie
Â
We're getting married on a farm in Kentucky, although by the time we're finished with it, you might be forgiven for thinking you've wandered into a Monet painting. Think English country garden, a glass conservatory, a four-course dinner and a sea of foxgloves, peonies and wildflowers.Â
Â
In other words, the correct dress code is black tie optional, with a little garden party romance.

For the ladies, think floor-length gowns in blush pink, powder blue, lavender, butter yellow or sage green. Beautiful fabrics, delicate prints, ruffles and a little sparkle are all encouraged. We're particularly fond of colour!
Think silk, chiffon and satin rather than casual cotton sundresses. It's a garden party, after all, but very much an evening affair.
Â
For the gentlemen, tuxedos and dinner jackets are very welcome, particularly if you've been looking for an excuse to wear something a little different. If you don't own a tuxedo, a well-tailored dark suit will do beautifully. Kilts are also very much encouraged in honour of Holly's dad, and we'd be especially delighted to see the Leslie or Farquharson tartans make an appearance.
Above all, wear something you love and use it as an excuse to dress up!
